Public lecture and the presentation of the 11th issue of “CIVICUS” was held in Pankisi

On May 21, CELA and “Pankisi Youth Center” organized the presentation of the 11th issue of the online edition “Civicus” and public lecture at Pankisi Social Cafe. Transformation of values and tolerance was the main topic of the event.

Tamar Karaia, the executive director of CELA talked about the relationship between the state and the individual, involvement of minorities and tolerance. The authors of the 11th issue of “Civicus” introduced their articles and the main objectives of the edition to the audience.

Opportunities for cooperation between CELA and “Pankisi Youth Center” and their future plans was discussed during the meeting.

The event was made possible with the financial support of USAID in the framework of the project Strengthening Electoral Processes (SEP), implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
