With the financial support of USAID in the framework of the project Strengthening Electoral Processes (SEP), implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the Civic Education lecturers Association invites you to submit an abstract for students scientific conference.
I. Eligibility
Only students and graduates of the Democracy and Citizenship university course from the following universities are eligible to participate in the conference:
II. Dates and Selection Procedure
In order to participate in the conference you must fill out an application form and send it with an abstract (length 650/750 words) until May 5, 2015 to the following email address info@cela.ge. Please enter “2015 Student Scientific Conference” in the subject line.
After careful evaluation of your abstracts selected applicants will be asked to write a full-length academic paper for the conference. Late submissions will not be considered. Paper has to be an authentic writing of the student. In case of plagiarism applicant will be
banned from further participating in the conference.
Authors of the best abstracts will be chosen by the selection commission and contacted until April 20, 2015. Deadline for full academic papers is May 25, 2015. Until May 5, CELA will name authors of the best papers, who will participate in the conference. They will present their papers on May 30, 2015.
III. Prize
CELA will publish best academic papers and hand out certificates of participation to authors. In Summer, 2015, the authors of the best student papers will take part in the summer school “Democracy and Citizenship” in Batumi.
