On April 1, 2015, the Civic Education Lecturers Association held a roundtable - “Teaching Civic Education: Achievements and Challenges” at the conference hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, IFES Georgia, PH international, the Civic Education Lecturers Association, the Civic Education Teachers Forum, the Civic Education Department of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association, the Civic Education Teachers Association, Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration and other organizations that work in this field.
Participants spoke about importance of coordinating civic education and their own achievements and challenges in the field.
According to organizers similar meeting is planned in the near future.
Roundtable was held by CELA and made possible with the support of USAID in the framework of the project Strengthening Electoral Processes (SEP), implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
