CELA Signed Memorandum of Understanding with the 21 University Rectors

On June 27, 2014, the Civic Education Lecturers Association (CELA) and rectors from twenty-one Georgian universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia. Based on this MoU, the universities committed to continue teaching the course on Democracy and Citizenship or to include this course into their curricula. In turn, CELA will ensure professional development of civic educators, develop learning materials, and help engage students in various activities.
