On January 30, 2015 IFES Georgia organized the Applied Civics Talk video conference between Ukrainian and Georgian youth on the topic: Voluntarism and Civic Activism. Georgian side was represented by civic education university course “Democracy and Citizenship” students and alumni, the majority of whom are involved in volunteerism and civic activism.
Georgian and Ukrainian youth discussed the issues of volunteerism and engagement in Georgia and Ukraine and shared their opinions over the existed challenges in this regard in two countries.
The Applied Civics Talk video conference is the seventh periodically organized by IFES Georgia over the various actual civic issues between Georgian and other countries youth.
