The implementation of the project "Become an active citizen in your own community" has started in Zugdidi

Within the framework of "Civil Engagement School 2023", the students of Shota Meskhia state teaching university of Zugdidi: Magi Fifia, Ika Bokhua, and Dimitri Dzimtseishvili are implementing the project "Become an active citizen in your own community"

Within the framework of the first activity of the project, training was organized by the authors in the Zugdidi Municipality Council. The training was led by Bela Mosia-Chairman of the Legal, Mandate, and Human Rights Protection Commission of Zugdidi Municipality Council, and a Professor of the Shota Meskhia State University of Zugdidi.

The participants discussed: the characteristics of an active citizen, the structure of the City Council, the principles of work, and the mechanisms of citizens' involvement in local self-government. The meeting was held in an active question-and-answer mode.
