Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ Akaki Tsereteli State University students: Tariel Khurtsidze, Ana Nikabadze, Nana Bendeliani, and Nino Bobokhidze are implementing action project ‘’Raising Public Awareness for the Welfare of Stray Dogs’’
To achieve the aim of the project, a discussion was organized at Kutaisi University. The discussion was attended by people of different professions and ages. They discussed the problems related to stray animals in the region, the role of society, and the obligations of the state.
In addition, the students made a video within the information campaign, also a survey was conducted with the pre-designed questionnaire to understand the public attitude towards stray animals.
‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
