Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ Gori State Teaching University students: Avtandil Titvinidze, Mariam Ckoidze, Mariam Mamukashvili, Tbilisi State University Student Nana Beriashvili, and Niako Macharashvili a pupil involved in the project are implementing action project ‘’We Can Deal with Domestic Violence with the Unity of Society’’.
To achieve the aim of the project, the first training has already been held at Gori Violence Victims Service Facility. Participants discussed the following topics: domestic violence, stress management, legal mechanisms of sexual harassment. Tamar Mchedlishvili and Besik Kaishauri were invited to the training. Tamar Mchedlishvili spoke about how she escaped from the violence. Besik Kaishauri reviewed the importance of stress management.
‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
