The Workshop was held within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ on the topic: ‘’research of past and access to archival documents in Georgia’’. A researcher of the Soviet Past Research Laboratory Irakli Khvadagiani was invited to the meeting.
Irakli khvadagiani introduced the importance of researching past and studying archival documents in this process. Based on historical facts, the guest reviewed the history of the establishment of archival institutions in Georgia.
Irakli khvadagiani focused on the challenges that a past researcher faces while gaining access to archival documents and in the working process. The guest also introduced students to the information campaigns aimed at making changes at the legislative level in social networks. The project participants were especially interested in this issue and the meeting was held in an active question-and-answer mode.
