The students of Samtskhe-Javakheti State University successfully implemented the project "Citizens' Involvement in Participatory Budget Designing".

Within the framework of "Civil Engagement School 2023", the students of Samtskhe-Javakheti State University: Shorena Kukchishvili, Mariam Zedginidze, and Nargiz Akhalkatsi successfully implemented the project "Citizens' Involvement in Participatory Budget Designing".

The authors organized trainings for young people, where they discussed the following issues: public finance management, budget planning, the role of the citizen in managing the country's finances, etc. Each training was conducted in an active question-answer and discussion mode.

The trainings were conducted by the following invited guests:

 Tamuna Uchidze - representative of ‘’Transparency International Georgia’’.

 Roin Tateshvili-Samtskhe-Samtkhe-Javakheti State University Associate Professor, Doctor of Economics.

An essay competition was also announced for the participants, they had to write papers on the topics discussed at the trainings. At the final event of the project, the awarding ceremony of essay winners was held.
