Students implemented a project about vandalism in Telavi

Within the framework of "Civil Engagement School 2023", the students of Telavi State University: Mariam Mamulashvili, Nino Khartonishvili, and Mariam Demetrashvili successfully implemented the project "Facts of Vandalism in Telavi Recreation Areas and Mechanisms of Response to them", which aimed to raise the awareness of adolescents about vandalism.

Within the framework of the project, trainings were held for the participants, which were led by the authors of the project themselves. The following topics were discussed at the trainings: examples of vandalism, its facts, and mechanisms of vandalism prevention. The authors also introduced the participants to the punishments imposed by Georgian legislation when the fact of vandalism is detected. Levan Berdzenashvili, a member of the Telavi Municipality Council, was invited to one of the activities.

As part of one of the activities, a short film about vandalism was shown, this activity helped the participants to better analyze theoretical knowledge.
Each training was conducted in an active question-answer and discussion mode.
