Students implemented a project about the European Union in Kutaisi

Within the framework of "Civic Engagement School 2023", students of Kutaisi University and Akaki Tsereteli State University: Ani Kekua, Ani Gogelidze, Mari Sopromadze, and Dako Mamrikishvili successfully implemented the project "Introduce Europe to Georgia".

Within the framework of the project, meetings were held for the participants, during which they discussed the following issues: the history and purpose of the establishment of the European Union, European values, the relationship between Georgia and the European Union, etc.

A forum was organized within the framework of the project, in which two categories of participants participated: listening delegates and speaker delegates. An information meeting about the European Union was held for the listening delegates, and the speaker delegates prepared three-minute reports on the same topic. Tekle Morgoshia, a civil activist and journalist, was invited to the forum and led the meeting together with the authors of the project.

'’Civic Engagement School 2023'' is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
