Within the framework of "Civil Engagement School 2023", the students of Telavi State University: Nini Beriashvili, Salome Zaalishvili and Sergo Maidisiani successfully implemented the project "Labor Rights Violations and their Prevention", which aimed to raise the awareness of adolescents about labor rights.

The authors conducted trainings for the project participants, and they discussed the following issues: labor rights, employment of minors, overtime work, labor discrimination, etc.

One of the trainings was led by the representative of the Public Defender, Eto Shiukashvili, who reviewed the following issues: internship, labor contract, activities of the Labor Inspection Office and mechanisms for preventing violations of labor rights.

As part of the last activity of the project, a mock trial was held, which was related to the case of violation of the labor rights of a minor. Project participants adapted to the roles of lawyer, prosecutor, witness, plaintiff and defendant.

Each training conducted in an active question-answer and discussion mode, and the mock trial helped the participants to better analyze the theoretical knowledge.
