Another civic engagement project was successfully implemented in Zugdidi

We continue to publish the results of the civic engagement projects implemented by students within the framework of the ‘’Civic Engagement School 2022’’.

This time we will tell you about the project of students of Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi: Mariam Kalichava, Sofia Kukhilava, and Giorgi Gogokhia. Their project aimed to inform youth about the forms of violence and its preventive ways.

Within the project, pieces of training were organized by the authors, where the following issues were discussed: types of violence, types, levels of conflict and its non-violent resolution, ways for the protection of victims, Various mechanisms of violence prevention - through the involvement of public institutions and the implementation of mediation.
 
Each training was held in an active question-answer mode and included practical works. The participants also discussed local examples.
