Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2022’’ Gori participants were trained about the local self-government topic. The training was conducted by Zviad Abashidze-Associate Professor of Tbilisi State University.
Zviad Abashidze discussed local self-government, branches of government, and the relationship between central and local government. Participants also focused on local government functions.
The training was conducted in an active question-answer mode. Each issue was discussed in the context of Georgia, based on specific examples. The training also included group exercises that helped the participants to better analyze the theoretical part.
