Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2022’’ workshop was held in Tbilisi on the topic of minority integration. Giorgi Sordia-Associate Professor of the University of Georgia was invited to the meeting.
The guest defined the legal differences between ethnic and national minorities, reviewed the history of ethnic, national, linguistic, and religious minorities living in Georgia and the geographical areas of settlement.
The guest focused on the role of the consistent state policy in the process of integration of minorities and what are the existing experiences in different states in this regard. The meeting was held in an active question-answer mode.
