The implementation of student action projects has started in Zugdidi

Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ the implementation of student action projects has started in Zugdidi. Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State Teaching University students: Veriko Tordia, Levan Chaava, and Davit Lukava are implementing the project ‘’safe and clean environment’’ which aims to raise awareness among young people about environmental issues.

To achieve the goal of the project, the students have already conducted the first training, representatives of the Department of Environmental Supervision: Tvalmaisa Vekua, Dali Sulashvili, and Maia Jologua were invited to the meeting. The guests discussed the importance of environmental protection for the community, what ecological problems exist in the region, and how these problems can be eliminated. The meeting also focused on the legal aspects of environmental protection. The training was conducted in an active question-and-answer mode.
