The implementation of the student action projects continue

Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ the implementation of the student action project ‘’no to child violence’’ has started. The authors of this project are students of Gori State Teaching University: Nana Murzashvili, Naia Khekhelashvili, and Mariam Eshmakurashvili. The project aims is to raise the awareness of schoolchildren about their rights and child abuse.

To achieve the goal of the project, the authors conducted the first training in Atos public school and discussed the following topics: forms of violence, issues of legislation on violence against children, forms of bullying (physical, psychological, verbal, and cyberbullying), laws adopted by international organizations on the rights of the child. The training was conducted in an active question-and-answer mode and included practical parts.

‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
