The implementation of the action project ‘’students to empower deaf and hard of hearing adolescents’’ continues

Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ the implementation of the action project ‘’students to empower deaf and hard of hearing adolescents’’ continues. The authors of the action project: Ana Sikhashvili, Tamar Uzunashvili, and Neli Kotorashvili held pieces of training on advocacy campaign and equality issues at Tbilisi public school 203.

The authors of the student action project discussed the following topics: the essence and forms of discrimination, equality, the new law on persons with disabilities, the essence, and the importance of the advocacy campaign. The training also focused on the impact that the advocacy campaign can have on the lives of people with disabilities. each topic included practical examples and exercises.
