Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ the implementation of student action projects has started in Kutaisi. Students of Akaki Tsereteli State University students: Maia Gogrichiani, Anano Janelidze, and Ana Babunashvili are implementing the project ‘’legal self-awareness in adolescents’’, which aims to raise the legal awareness of school children.
A training module was created within the project, which includes the following topics: oppression, early marriage, domestic violence, and juvenile delinquency. To achieve the aim of the project, the authors of the action project conducted a two-day training for schoolchildren from different schools at Tskaltubo innovation center.
The first day of the training focused on early marriage and domestic violence and the second day focused on oppression and juvenile delinquency. Each day of the training included both theoretical and practical group works.
‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
