Implementation of action projects has started

The third stage of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ has started. Within the third stage of the project, students are implementing action projects.

Tbilisi State University students: Ana Sikhashvili, Tamar Uzunashvili, and Georgian Technical University student: Neli Kotorashvili are implementing an action project named: ‘’students to empower deaf and hard of hearing adolescents’’. Action project aims to raise awareness of deaf and hard of hearing pupils at Tbilisi public school 203 about human rights, civic activism, and ways of advocacy.

The authors of the action project have already carried out the first activity. Students conducted introductory training for students, shared the project aim and planned activities, discussed the challenges that deaf and hard of hearing individuals face in life. Within the framework of the project, pieces of training on human rights and civic activism are planned for the future.

‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
