Another workshop was held within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ in Batumi. A civic activist and reporter of online platform asea.ge Mirian Mertskhaladze was invited to the meeting.

Mirian Mertskhaladze discussed the essence of civic activism and the role of civic awareness of citizens during the democratic development of the country. The guest spoke about the successful civic movements in Adjara region and shared his experience with the project participants. In addition, Mirian Mertskhaladze focused on mass media’s role and functions.

The meeting was conducted in an active question-and-answer mode. The project participants informed the guest about the activities planned within the action projects. Mirian Mertskhaladze expressed readiness to help the project participants in popularizing the activities planned to be implemented within the action projects.
