Another workshop was held within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ on the human rights topic

Another workshop was held within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ in Telavi. The main topic of the workshop was human rights. A lawyer and head of the legal department of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Jumber Mailashvili was invited to the meeting.

Guest introduced to the human rights and legal issues of population engagement in the election process. The guest emphasized the importance of the election in the process of democratic development of the country. Jumber Mailashvili also discussed the issue of early marriage and the facts of early marriage in the region. Students analyzed these facts.

The project participants introduced the guest to the project initiatives, the meeting was informative because students received relevant information about the legal issues that will be useful in the implementation of the action project. Also, the guest introduced students to the relevant scientific literature, which will help them to better understand the above issues.
