On March 30, the Civic Education Lecturers Association and Georgian National University has signed the Memorandum of Understanding. An executive director of CELA and the rector of SEU signed the document.
According to the agreement, Georgian National University undertook an obligation to involve “Democracy and Citizenship” university course in their curriculums. For its part, CELA will take care of retraining of the civic education lecturers, preparing training materials and involving students in different activities.
The event was made possible with the financial support of USAID in the framework of the project Strengthening Electoral Processes (SEP) implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
