The Civic Education Lecturers Association in cooperation with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office implements the Civic Engagement School project. The project aims to give students the opportunity to develop the skills necessary for a citizen.
The project was implemented in six university cities. These are: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Gori, Zugdidi and Telavi. In total, about eighty young people from 9 universities were involved in the project.
The project included a series of meetings with representatives of academia, governmental and non-governmental sectors, who increased the knowledge and experience of the youth about the characteristics of the political system, its functioning mechanisms, the actors involved in it, and the levers available to influence it.
After passing the theoretical part, the participants of the project implemented the "Civil Engagement Projects", They worked on identifying and solving problems in the community.
