Call for participants in the newly launched project ''Strengthening ICT Skills for Empowering Democracy"

''The Civic Education Lecturers Association'' invites applications to participate in the project ''Strengthening ICT Skills for Empowering Democracy''

This initiative is an opportunity for the representatives of the youth who meet the following criteria:

• Is BA or MA level student ( Ph.D. students are evaluated as overqualified,
• Proficiency in the English language at a communicative level, 
• Have a keen interest in civil activism and wish to acquire knowledge about using digital services for civil monitoring.

The project follows a hybrid format, encompassing both online and face-to-face components. The online training sessions will equip participants with essential skills, while workshops led by esteemed local and international experts will further enrich their understanding.  

Throughout the project, mentors will guide the participants in applying acquired knowledge practically, ensuring a hands-on experience. Furthermore, participants will be actively involved in a culminating face-to-face conference, fostering collaborative learning and exchange of insights. 

Applications will be accepted until August 22. 

Selected participants will be notified by August 30. 

The training will start on September 8.

The project is implemented within the Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education (EENCE) Civic Education Ideas Competition framework. It is funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung/bpb).
