An action project on electronic governance was successfully implemented in Gori

We continue to publish the results of the civic engagement projects implemented by students within the framework of the ‘’Civic Engagement School 2022’’.

This time we will tell you about the project of Gori State Teaching University students: Ketevan Kakhniashvili, Eter Gogiashvili, and Tinatin Gigauri. Their project aimed to raise the awareness of young people about e-governance.

Within the framework of the project, pieces of training were organized by students, where the following issues were discussed: the development and structure of the e-government phenomenon, citizen participation, how civil society can use digital services, public management, electronic portals, etc.

Each training was conducted in an active question-answer mode. The participants reviewed the results of the UN research on e-government. The pieces of training also included practical works; participants were introduced to the ways of using electronic portals.

''Civic Engagement School 2022'' is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
