Implementation of action projects has been completed in Kutaisi

Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ Kutaisi University students: Aleksandre Bokhua, Mari Ionanidze, Dachi Kobakhidze, Lana Gvalia, Giorgi Iomanidze, and Mariam Mardalesihvili successfully implemented action project ‘’Eco Time’’, which aimed to raise awareness among young people about ecology.

To achieve the aim of the project, the students conducted the training. They discussed the following topics: deforestation, soil erosion, the impact of the hydroelectric power station on ecology, causes of air, water, and soil pollution. The training included practical part, participants were divided into groups, discussed regional problems in terms of environmental pollution, they also outlined preventive ways how these problems could be eliminated. Each participant was awarded a certificate.

It is noteworthy that before the event, the authors of the project cleaned the area where this training was conducted.
