On April 11 within the framework of the ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ training was held at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University. The training was led by Ketevan Mukhiguli: associate professor of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) and Caucasus University.
Ketevan Mukhiguli discussed the characteristics of civil society, the role of social activism, and social change in the development of society. Ketevan Mukhiguli introduced participants to the cycle of implementation of action projects, structure, and strategy development process.
The training included practical group work, within the practical work students discussed social issues and presented project proposals. The executive director of CELA-Tamar Karaia attended the training through the ZOOM platform. She introduced participants to the main purpose of the ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’.
